PMH Trials
PMH offers trials on various extruders for material tests, output tests, filament production, welding wire production, and strand pelletizing. This allows applications to be practically evaluated in advance.
Trials on Single-Screw Extruders.
The PMH twin-screw extruder 25 mm – 32 L/D is designed for applications where flexible configuration, reproducible trials, and compact small batches are key.
Twin-Screw Extruder Applications
Plastifiziertests
Strand pelletizing with one strand
Filament productionstests
Welding wire production tests
Small Batches and Trials at Laboratory Scale
With our single-screw lab extruder, small batches of 0.5 to 5 kg are possible. This is particularly suitable for smaller trial series and development tasks.
This allows materials and processes to be tested at a small scale.
Trials on the Twin-Screw Extruder
With our twin-screw extruder DS25/32ld, strand pelletizing with one or four strands, plasticizing tests, and output tests are possible.
Possible Materials and Applications
- All standard plastics
- Metal-filled materials
- Ceramic-filled materials
- Engineering plastics
- Fiber-reinforced plastics
- Small batches of 0.5 to 5 kg
- Fiber-filled plastics
- Trials on single-screw and twin-screw extruders
